2 Days Certificate Course on Compressor Maintenance Concluded at CECA
Capacity Building of Industry Professionals Under University-Industry Linkage Program.
FAISALABAD, 19 FEB 2021: “Compressor health is the foundation of energy management and productivity on Textile Industry floor, as compressed air production takes up to 70% of electric consumption in the textile industry”, said Dr. Tanveer Hussain, Vice-Chancellor, National Textile University, Faisalabad, while addressing participants of 2 Days Certificate Course on Compressor Maintenance at (CECA) Center of Excellence in Compressed Air, NTU, organized a 2 Days Certificate Course on Compressor Maintenance, to address the problems faced by industries and for capacity building industrial engineers. CEECA is a University-Industry collaboration between National Textile University Faisalabad and the Asian Institute of Industrial Air. A number of participants from diverse industrial backgrounds including faculty and students from NTU participated in this training.
Compressor Maintenance is being one of the critical topics for almost every manufacturing organization as neither compressor breakdown nor energy losses in compressor system are acceptable in industries like textile, pharma, automobile and other manufacturing sectors. To better address the needs of training in this domain, CECA organized 2 days Professional Certificate course on “Compressor Maintenance”. Industry Expert trainers having a strong practical background in maintenance management of Industrial compressors address an in-depth understanding for troubleshooting of different types of compressors and other compressed air-related issues faced by the technical managers. Participants from 17 different public and private sector organizations participated this 2 Days Professional Training Course on “Compressor Maintenance” held on February 18-19, 2021.
CECA has published an annual training calendar for a series of the training program which will cover the complete domain of compressors and compressed air systems. Training calendar also includes the trainings programs related to Manufacturing Processes and other technologies. Upcoming training programs will in March 2021 will cover topics of Compressed Air Quality as well as Process Control for manufacturing industries.
