Just bridging the gap between academy and industry is not the sole purpose of AIIA. Empowering the universities by developing constructive relationship and enabling them to do the job of bridging the gap, AIIA has developed trusted partnerships with academia.

University-Industry Linkage

Meaningful university-industry partnerships play an important role in the development of new products and processes, empower young graduates with skills and build networks for professional development. PCED supports the partnerships beyond the traditional rhetoric of discussions and talks to living examples. 

AIIA has partnered with leading global players in industrial air engineering i.e from Germany (CompAir Drucklufttechnik – Gardner Denver Deutschland GmbH – Simmern), France (Parker Hannifin – Rennes) and the Netherlands (VPInstruments – Delft) to establish Rastgar Center of Excellence in Compressor Air (CECA) at National Textile University (NTU) Faisalabad to train fresh and mid-career industry professionals in the various aspects of Compressed Air Technology. This center will also help in pursuing research in Compressed air-related industry problems by conducting MS/Ph.D. thesis.

Industry contributor to the establishment of Centre of Excellence in Compressed Air is Rastgar Air Compressor.
